Survey concerning the individual components of the remuneration rates for long-term care drawn up by the Dutch Healthcare Authority

The organisation, with a turnover level of approx. €150m, was a provider of nursing, residential, home, and day care operating multiple branches. It desired a thorough understanding of the individual components of the remuneration rates for long-term care over the years drawn up by the Dutch Healthcare Authority, as well as its own cost & allocation structure. A specific area of attention was the applied split-up of the rates into treatment versus nursing & care components. Beaufort's research has shown that - despite the increased needs of the client population - the level of treatment rates had shown a decreasing pattern over the years. During the course of the assignment, Beaufort also identified potential cost savings measures and advised on the internal methodology of revenue and cost allocation.
