Evaluation of strategy and continuity prospects, identifying future scenarios and implementing a turnaround for a management information system
A loss-making company with activities in construction and project development as well as investments suffered a marked loss of market share and needed to make radical strategic choices. We evaluated its strategy and continuity prospects and calculated the implications of alternative strategic choices. On the basis of the evaluation and calculations, the company made choices, including a partial stop on new construction activities and the sale of its project development activities. We also vetted the financial department, drew up interim results and forecasts and advised on a new management information system. Then some business units were sold, with Beaufort coordinating the process.
