Supporting a manufacturer serving the transport sector

The client, a manufacturer linked to the transport sector, was making heavy losses. We conducted an analysis and drew up a restructuring plan, which we implemented. The key elements of the plan were an injection of new capital and the continuation of the existing line of credit, along with strengthening the management team, including appointing a new Commercial Director. Non-core activities were sold, and two production sites were closed, concentrating production at one site. The unit contribution margin was increased and new investments were made in sales, for example to boost exports. Results: successful implementation of the restructuring plan and a healthy, profitable company established for the long term.
