Located in Lelystad, Batavia Stad Outlet Shopping (BSOS) was the first premium outlet centre in the Netherlands when established in 2001.
The question
BSOS is owned by VIA Outlets, a fund established in 2014 with a portfolio of outlet centres in Europe. In 2018, VIA Outlets made plans to refinance BSOS. VIA Outlets engaged our help for the refinancing process.
Our approach
We supported BSOS in the entire refinancing process. We initiated a competitive selection process, together with VIA Outlets, based on a detailed financing memorandum. This enabled us to arrive at the optimal financial solution. We also assisted VIA Outlets in structuring, negotiating and closing the loan.
The result
Helaba Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen provided VIA Outlets with long-term financing of €100 million.
