The Company focused on demolition, recycling and road construction. Operations have grown significantly as a result of several large acquisitions. The Company did not meet its budget for 2022 and was faced with liquidity shortages. The disappointing results came as a surprise for the Company’s management. Due to the many legal entities and a complex system of intercompany charges, there was insufficient financial insight.
Beaufort has drawn up an Independent Business Review in which the causes for the disappointing results were investigated and a plan was drawn up to improve the Company’s performance.
