Beaufort Transformations and Transactions champions the motto: ‘Perfection made Personal.’ What does that mean in daily practice? In this series, the consultants from Beaufort explain how they make it ‘Personal’. This week: Diego le Grand.
“The most important factor in providing truly personal and valuable advice is an open-minded, solution-oriented and entrepreneurial vision.” – Diego le Grand, consultant.
Perfection made Personal, what do you think that means?
“‘Perfection made personal’ for me encompasses the two important aspects of our work; striving for perfection with regard to our analyses, and then translating these insights into concrete advice that provides direct value in the client’s personal situation.
In my opinion, both are inextricably linked. If you do not aim for perfection in your analyses, your advice is based on assumptions. Equally, a perfect analysis is of no use if you do not concretise advice from it or if it is not tailored to a client’s specific situation.
‘Perfection made personal’ therefore explicates for me Beaufort’s primary added value: providing valuable, personal advice based on the most objective and ‘perfect’ analysis possible.”
And Diego: How do you make it Personal?
“The most important factor in providing truly personal and valuable advice is an open-minded, solution-oriented and entrepreneurial vision, shaped by an objective and accurate analysis of the facts.
Forming an opinion therefore starts with fully understanding a market, business model, company, and its finances. Personalisation follows the objective analysis; I integrate the acquired factual knowledge into a client’s specific situation, and from there try to think in concrete opportunities and solutions for the business.”
